Andrea Cahill, Hot Brass Personal Defense lead instructor, stresses to a group of women and senior citizens that being alert and ready to react can mean the difference between life and death. She taught about 50 people at the Mercer County Sheriff's Office to be more aware of their surroundings and what to do in emergency situations. The free class was sponsored by the sheriff's office.
