Timothy Baker
Timothy Louis Baker, 56, Paulding and formerly of Celina, passed away at 9:44 a.m. Feb. 15, 2015, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Sept.12, 1958, in Celina, to Robert and Mazie (Faulkner) Baker, who live in Celina.
Also surviving is a son, Jay Lee Baker, Celina; a brother, Steve Baker, Paulding; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mazie and Steve Mizelle, Pittsford, N.Y., and Rhoda and Michael Lane, Celina; nieces and nephews, Christina Mizelle, Sarah Mizelle, Robert Mizelle and David Mizelle; and his former wife, Tammy (Lockwood) Wallen.
He graduated in 1976 from Celina Senior High School. He was a self-published author of several books and wrote numerous magazine articles. Since his teenage years, he had a chronic illness which impaired his ability to work. He loved camping, hunting, weightlifting, fishing and writing stories.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
