Betty Lou Howe-Johnson
Betty Lou (Carr) Howe-Johnson, 81, Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 28, 2015, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.
She was born Aug. 3, 1933, in Mount Holly, Burlington County, N.J., the daughter of the late Russell and Marie (Metro) Carr, who are deceased. Her first husband, Paul Howe Jr., and her second husband, Duane Keith Johnson, are deceased.
Surviving are her children, Rusty Howe, Versailles, Danny Howe and wife, Bonnie, Rossburg, and Paul Dean Howe and wife, Sheryl, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Angela Crawford of Oklahoma; Leigh Ann and husband, Greg Morris; a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Johnson, Byesville; and grandchildren, Jeffrey Howe and wife, Susan, Chris Howe and wife, Sarah, Kevin Howe and wife, Betsy, Travis Howe, Katrina Fletcher, Brianna Johnson-Crawford and fiance, KC Mosley, Nicole and husband, Daniel Forbes, Natalie Johnson, Mathew Johnson, Mark Johnson, Christen Morris and Christi Wilson; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lois Livingston and husband, Danny, and Tracy Johnson, all of Union City; and brothers-in-law, Cletus Moore, Portland, Ind., and Clarence Bowling.
Also deceased are her son, Brian Keith Johnson; a stepson, Mark Johnson; and a brother, Forman Metro.
Betty was retired in 1993 from FRAM Group in Greenville where she had worked for 30 years. She was a member of the Woodington Congregational Christian Church.
Betty loved spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, camping and traveling.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, Pastor Jim Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and 10-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Woodington Congregational Church or State of the Heart Hospice.
