* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 435 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Rocketship Sports helped launch Grand Lake Marathon

ST. MARYS - Rocketship Sports Management was honored Tuesday for promoting area tourism by launching the Grand Lake Marathon in 2014.
The nonprofit Greenville-based organization was given the Stahr Award during the Auglaize and Mercer Counties Convention and Visitors Bureau annual luncheon at Otterbein St. Marys. Rocketship manager Roger Bowersock was unable to attend the presentation. [More]
