Marvin Uhlenhake
Marvin J. Uhlenhake, age 57, of Coldwater, died Saturday morning, May 23, 2015 at Mercer Health Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born February 4, 1958 in Coldwater to the late Ernest Uhlenhake & Marilyn (Meier) Uhlenhake, who survives in Coldwater. He married Patricia (Post) on November 12, 1983, and she survives in Coldwater.
He is also survived by four sons, Ben & Kim Uhlenhake of Coldwater, Brian & Samantha Uhlenhake of Dayton, Nick & Jessica Uhlenhake of Coldwater and Keith Uhlenhake of Dayton; four grandchildren, Austin, Courtney, Carson & Henry; a brother, Rick & Bev Uhlenhake of Coldwater and a sister Brenda & Brad Schwieterman of Maria Stein; his mother-in-law Alice Post of St. Henry, in-laws, Barb Uhlenhake of Coldwater, Bernice & John Reichert of Maria Stein, Ivo & Linda Post of Maria Stein, Jerry & Joretta Post of St. Henry, Chuck & Kathy Post of Ft. Recovery, Sally Post of St. Henry, Angie & Paul Mangen of Versailles and Mary Jo & Brett Beatty of Jamestown, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by a brother Gary, a sister Linda and his father-in-law Alvin Post.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Philothea and the Men's Sodality. Marvin enjoyed woodworking and loved to be outdoors. He farmed until he lost his eyesight.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
