A heavy tree branch and soccer goal remain toppled this morning on the grounds of Celina High School after a storm struck Sunday night. Assistant superintendent Dean Giesige said a total of four trees were lost at the high school and intermediate school and a light pole fell. Mike Robbins, director of the Mercer County Emergency Management Agency, said damage was isolated in the area and likely caused by straight-line winds and downbursts between 9:30-10 p.m. He clocked a wind gust of 38 mph but estimated it was much higher at the school and in the 200 block of Zillah Street where a limb measuring 4 inches in diameter fell to the ground.
