CELINA - City officials have come to an agreement with lakeside businesses owners wanting to use boat cleats to attract customers.
The cleats allow boaters to secure their vessels along the West Bank walkway.
Bella's Italian Grille and Big Bamboo's Dockside Grille, both on West Bank Road, were permitted to reinsert boat cleats into a wooden panel alongside the walkway after signing documents absolving the city of liability, according to city law director George Moore. [More]

Most local festivals go off as planned despite recent flooding
CELINA - Almost all local roads have reopened and most of the weekend's scheduled events took place as last week's floodwaters slowly recede.
All state routes in Mercer County are open, said Monte Diegel, the county's 911 administrator.
CELINA - A 33-year-old woman died late Sunday night from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Celina Assistant Police Chief Cal Freeman.
ROSSBURG - Greg Wilson is a two-time All Star Circuit of Champion Sprint Car champion and has been to Eldora's victory lane before, but after capturing Saturday night's 30-lap Ohio Sprint Speedweek feature event at the track, Wilson was fighting back tears.
