Shirley Langenkamp
Shirley A. Langenkamp, age 69, of Celina Ohio, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Laurels in Rockford.
She was born February 19, 1946 in Celina to the late Cletus J. Sr. & Vera E. (Moeller) Tobe. On April 22, 1967 she married Joseph H. Langenkamp and he survives in Celina.
She is also survived by six children, Angela (Douglas) Freeman of Celina, Deborah (Gary II) Zimmerman of North Baltimore, Lynn (Randy) Young of Rockford, Anthony Langenkamp of Crestwood, Kentucky, Sara (Bill) Frost of Bellefontaine and Nora (Stephen Young II) Langenkamp of Celina, seventeen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, siblings Robert (Jane) Tobe, Bernice (Daniel) Westgerdes, Kenneth (Grace) Tobe, Eleanore (David) Hamilton, Martin (Rose) Tobe, Lester (Kathleen) Tobe, Cletus Tobe Jr., Patricia (Thomas) Flaute, David (Rita) Tobe, Margaret (Michael) Bruggeman, Susan (Michael) Thien, Eric (Lou Ann) Tobe, in-laws Bernice (Paul) Heim, Patricia, (Lavern) Wente, Theresa (John) Cangelosi, Marjorie (Joseph) Grieshop, Roberta (James) Chilimigras, Jane (Ronald) Obringer, Jerome (Susan) Langenkamp, Connie (Paul) Simons, Mary (Walter) Wagor, Diane Tutorow, Kathryn (Peter Peroutka) Langenkamp, David (Cindy) Langenkamp, Michael (Angela) Langenkamp, Elizabeth (Todd) Dammeyer, Gregory (Nina McDaniel) Langenkamp and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a son Aaron Gregory Langenkamp, a grandson Randy L. Young II, and in-laws Norbert H. & Margaret E. (Stammen) Langenkamp, Walter Langenkamp, Herman Langenkamp, Herbert Langenkamp and Louise Langenkamp.
Shirley was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, the rosary altar sodality of the church, a religious education teacher, Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Celina, Mercer County Right to Life and Mercer County Republican women.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Ken Alt officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Monday and from 9 to 9:45 AM on Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
