Enola Greber
Enola L. Greber, 85, New Bremen, Ohio, died 9:57 A.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born February 10, 1930, in Shelby County, Ohio, the daughter of William and Pauline (Egbert) Bushman, Sr. She married Wilbur Greber on September 4, 1948, in New Bremen, Ohio, and he survives at The Gardens at Celina.
She is also survived by her four children: Roger (Linda) Greber of New Bremen; Ronald (Deb) Greber of Celina; Diane (Dave) James of New Bremen; Larry (Tammy) Greber of New Bremen. She is survived by her nine grandchildren, and by twenty-one great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Betty Bushman of New Bremen, and Aurora Bushman of Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Flo Bushman; her siblings William Bushman, Edward Bushman and Laverta Price.
Enola retired from the Valley Nursing Home in Saint Marys, where she had worked as a nurse's aide for twenty-nine years. She was a lifelong farmer, as well, and worked at the Saint Marys Dairy Queen store.
She was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in New Bremen, and the Christian Service Circle of the church. She enjoyed sewing and traveling, and was a member of the Wapakoneta Eagle's Auxiliary.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in New Bremen, the Reverend Becky Erb Strang, officiant. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
