Irene Link
Irene C. Link, 90, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on July 26, 2015, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford, Ohio.
She was born October 17, 1924, in St. Anthony, OH, to the late Henry and Veronica (Muhlenkamp) Sudhoff. On February 10, 1945, she married Ralph Link, who died September 29, 1994.
Surviving are six sons, Don (Sharon) Link of Union City, IN, Jim (Mary) Link of Bryant, IN, Eric (Karen) Link of Portland, IN, Dale (Barb) Link of Portland, Vernon (Edy) Link of Fort Recovery, and Dan (Cathy) Link of Fort Recovery; two daughters, Thelma (Tony) Lucci of Denver, CO, and Sharon (Len) Palmisano of Fort Myers, FL; two sisters, Merilda Fleck of Celina, OH, and Mary Agnes Knapke of Coldwater, OH; three brothers, Herman (Dorothy) Sudhoff of Fort Recovery, Paul (Mary) Sudhoff of Madison, IN, Ray (Margie) Sudhoff of Fort Recovery; 32 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Cleo Sudhoff of Fort Recovery, and Judy Sudhoff, Fort Recovery; and a great-great grandchild.
Deceased is a daughter-in-law, Dianne Link, a sister, Rita (Wes) Meinerding, two brothers, Alfred Sudhoff and Alvin Sudhoff, two brothers-in-law, Robert Fleck and Paul "Bud" Knapke, a sister-in-law, Bernice Sudhoff, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was a member of St. Peter Christian Mother's Sodality, the Daughters of Isabella Circle 810, Fort Recovery, Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and the Altar Rosary Sodality of the church.
She enjoyed embroidering, quilting, gardening and loved taking care of her African violets. Irene also adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved playing a game of cards.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Thursday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
