Frank Huber
Frank J. Huber, age 74, of North Star, died Monday, July 27, 2015 in the Hospice unit at Wayne Hospital, Greenville.
He was born December 23, 1940 in North Star to the late Frank H. & Hedwig (Schulze) Huber. On May 15, 1965, he married Diana (Hiestand), who survives in North Star.
Also surviving are three children, Carla Mor-sey of New Weston, Cheryl & Dean Jones of Arlington and Craig & Amy Huber of Arcanum, thirteen grandchildren, Paul, John, Peter and Alexander Morsey, Tony, Nick, Tommy, Maria, Frankie, Martin, Philip and Louie Jones and Tyler Huber, one great-grandchild, Jacob, brothers and sisters, Rita Stammen of Ft. Recovery, Ruth Stammen of Burkettsville, Mildred Siefring of Coldwater, Paul & Barb Huber of North Star, Betty Feltz of St. Henry, and Louis & Jane Huber of Versailles, and in-laws, Betty Link of Arizona, Bob & Judy Hiestand of Ansonia, Ronnie & Joyce Hiestand of North Star, Julia & Darrel Meyer of New Weston, Jeanie & Jeff Mathew of Lima, and Steve & Marge Hiestand of Rossburg.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Norb Huber, Herbert & Dorothy Huber, Eleanor & Virgil Schoenlein, Dorothy & Othor Barga and Dolores & Lavern Rindler, and in-laws, Tony Feltz, Melvin Stammen, Carl Stammen, Elmer Siefring, Frank Link, and Jim Hiestand.
He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star where he was an usher and member of the Holy Name Society. He was a past commander of the North Star American Legion and former member of the Ohio National Guard.
Frank enjoyed bowling, cards, and was a sports fan. He worked part-time for Superior Aluminum, Russia and was retired after 43 years from Blue Flame, North Star.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star with Fr. David Zink, officiating. Burial with military rites provided by the North Star American Legion will follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at St. Louis Church, North Star on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
