Dorothy Bomholt
Dorothy G. Bomholt age 94 of St. Rose, OH passed away at 4:15 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Heritage Manor Care Center.
She was born in Trinity, IN on August 19, 1921 to the late John & Theresa (Fischer) Thien. She married Clarence "Pete" Bomholt and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1985.
She is survived by children Byron "Bub" & Nancy Bomholt, St. Rose, Bonnie & Patrick Buschur, North Star, Donna & Mike Furderer, Kettering, Randy Bomholt, Phoenix, AZ, James & Marilyn Bomholt, St. Rose, son-in-law Joe Davidson, Minster, 16 grandchildren & 30 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Dolly Thien, Ft. Recovery, and sister and brother-in-law Mary and Tom Kremer, St. Anthony.
Preceded in death, daughter Tacie Davidson, by brothers and sisters Earl Thien, Lenore and Ray Homan, Elsie and Lawrence Gaier, John and Elvina Thien, Raymond Thien, Edward and Pearl Thien, Fred and Anna Lou Thien, Richard Thien, Thomas Thien, James and Mildred Thien, Jerome Thien, Frank Thien. Sisters and brothers in law, Alma Bomholt, Joe Bomholt, Dorothy and Paul Raffel.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Sodality of the Church. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Chickasaw & American Legion Auxiliary, Maria Stein.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose, Ohio with Rev. Gene Schnipke celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2015.
