Local Trick-or-Treat, Halloween events listed

Area Trick or Treat and Halloween events are on the following days and times:
• Cassella - Oct. 27: Trick or Treat, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Catholic Knights Hall.
• Celina - Oct. 25: Parade, 2-4 p.m., and Trick or Treat, 4-6 p.m.
• Coldwater - Oct. 25: Parade, 1:30 p.m. starting at parking lot near pool at Memorial Park, and Trick or Treat, 2-4 p.m.
• Fort Recovery - Oct. 25: Parade, 3:15 p.m., and Trick or Treat, 4-6 p.m.
• Maria Stein - Oct. 25: Parade, 1 p.m. starting at the church rectory parking lot and ending at the Marion Township Park, and Trick or Treat to follow until 3 p.m.
• Mendon - Oct. 31: Trick or Treat, 4-6 p.m.; chili supper and costume judging will follow at the firehouse.
• Minster - Oct. 29: Trick or Treat, 6:30-8 p.m.
• New Bremen - Oct. 29: Parade, 1 p.m.; cider time, 1:30 p.m.; Trick or Treat, 6-7:30 p.m.
• Rockford - Oct. 31: Trick or Treat, 6-7:30 p.m.
• St. Henry - Oct. 25: Parade, 1:30 p.m., and Trick or Treat, 2-4 p.m.
• St. Marys - Oct. 29: Rotary Club parade, meet at 5 p.m. in the Chestnut Street parking lot, judging at 5:15 p.m., parade starts at 6 p.m.; Trick or Treat, 6-7:30 p.m.
• St. Sebastian - Oct. 31: Trick or Treat, noon-1:30 p.m. The ladies sodality will provide hot dogs and treats at the church at the start.
Households planning to participate in Trick or Treat are asked to turn on their outside lights.

CELINA - Senate President Keith Faber, R-Celina, has announced he will run in 2016 for the Ohio House's 84th District seat currently held by Jim Buchy, R-Greenville.
