Louella Fenner
Louella Marie Fenner, age 90 of Dayton, passed away October 24, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton, with her children and grandchildren at her bedside.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio August 24, 1925 to Florence and William O'Ryan. She married her husband, Thomas Fenner, March 29, 1947 who has preceded her in death after 55 years of marriage.
She is survived by daughters Lynda Fenner of Dayton, Jackie (Jerry) Lacy of Celina, Merriann (Mark) Craig of Dayton, son Tom (Gail) Fenner of Arkansas, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Annabelle (Otis) Butcher, and brothers Gene O'Ryan, Jerry (Nancy) O'Ryan, and sister in law Phyllis O'Ryan.
She is preceded in death by one grandson, brothers Earl O'Ryan, Bill O'Ryan, Bob O'Ryan, brother in law Jack Fenner, and sister in laws Mary Fenner and Judy O'Ryan.
Louella and her husband owned and operated Fenner's Restaurant on the south side of Grand Lake St. Marys. She was active in Montezuma United Methodist Church before moving to Dayton. She was a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW.
Her family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice of Dayton for the love, care and support of their mother.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 29, 2015 at 11 am at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jason Alsphaugh, 111 W. Monument Ave, Dayton, OH 45402.
Friends may call 10 – 11 am Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in her name to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton Ohio 45420.
Services have been entrusted to Tobias Funeral Home-Belmont Chapel.
