Douglas Greber
Douglas (Doug) W. Greber, 53, Celina, entered into peaceful rest at his home on October 29, 2015 at 2:45 P.M. with his family and faithful pets by his side.
He was born October 25, 1962 in Celina. He married Cathy Winemiller; and she survives at the residence.
Other survivors include his son, Josh Greber, Celina; his mother, Joan (Michaels) Greber, Celina; two brothers, Kim (Patti) Greber, Sanford, FL, and Larry Greber, London, OH; two sisters, Sandy (Steve) Dorsten, Celina, and Penny (Hop) Muter, Celina; a father-in-law, Dwight L. Winemiller, Celina; brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's, Gary (Roxana) Kuhn, Celina, Mark (Kelley) Kuhn, Celina, and Tim (Tracy) Fifer, Celina; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his dad, Henry "Butch" Greber; grandparents, Robert "Bob" and Pauline Michaels, and Henry (Carrie) Greber; and mother-in-law, Norma (Muether) Winemiller.
Doug graduated from Celina Senior High School in 1981. His first job was a cook at Empire Family Restaurant. After graduation he moved to Columbus and worked at Fireproof Record and Storage. He moved back to Celina and worked at Pet Milk before getting a job at St. Marys Foundry where he worked for the past 28 years.
Doug enjoyed helping Josh get the race car ready for family time on Saturday nights at the dirt track. He enjoyed watching other dirt track racing, hunting and fishing. He loved camping in backyard and woods with family and friends. He also enjoyed cooking and trying new things.
You could always count on him to help anyone out. Doug was an awesome husband and loving father who will be greatly missed by many of his family and friends.
Visitation hours will be from 1-4 and 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Jon Exman officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
