Deaf Town volunteers operate the "Hands-on Travel Agency." The Wright State University-Lake Campus event, organized by American Sign Language professor Jodi Pierstorff, allowed hearing people to get a feel for the challenges deaf people face. Hearing people, or the "signing impaired," as Pierstorff called them, went through five stations using only sign language to communicate.
