Rose Hauenstein
Rose M. Hauenstein, 81, of Wapakoneta, died 8:04 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at her home with her family at her side.
She was born Nov. 8, 1934, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Robert & Roscine (Fischer) Marvin. On April 28, 1956, in St. Marys Catholic Church, Adrian, she married Donald K. Hauenstein, and he survives.
Other survivors include, children, Alan (Denise) Hauenstein, Dothan, AL, Brian Hauenstein, Wapakoneta, Beth Hauenstein, Celina, OH, grandchildren, Elizabeth Zaleski and Stephanie (Samuel) Emfinger, both of Dothan, AL; Leta Dietz, Fort Myers, FL; Cody (Nikki) Vogel, New Knoxville, OH; Macy Vogel, Kettering, OH; Amber Law, Wapakoneta; 3 great grandchildren, siblings, Harold Marvin, Tom Marvin, & Elizabeth Riley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Hauenstein, and 2 brothers, Jerold & Stanley Marvin.
After moving to Wapakoneta, Rose worked in the office at American Mat Co. and Koneta Rubber Co., Wapakoneta. She retired after 20 years of service. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tues. Dec. 29, 2015, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Daniel Hunt officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., today. and 9-9:45 a.m., Tues. at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral and Cremation Services, 1102 Lincoln Ave., (St. Rt. 501), Wapakoneta.
