Fire damages home

Celina firefighters on Wednesday night work to contain a house fire in the 1100 block of Myers Road. The department responded to a call at 8:56 p.m. and firefighters were on scene containing hot spots until about 4 a.m. today, Lt. Jon Schumm said. No one was injured in the fire, which began between the first and second floors of the home and caused heavy damage to the second floor and attic. The cause is under investigation.
