After the snow comes to an end, some roads may remain snow- covered or slick through tonight. Some patchy blowing snow may cause snow to blow back onto previously-cleared roads, allowing for potential slick spots to linger longer than would otherwise be the case. NEW BREMEN - A longtime village council member will resign but could possibly return.
At a special meeting Wednesday, Dennis Burnell tendered his resignation effective Monday. His term expires Dec. 31, 2017. He was elected in 2013 to his fifth council term and has served for more than 18 years.
