Circulation manager Jay Miley, right, explains the Mercer County District Library's new 3-D printer to patron Colin Kittle. The printer is available for the public to use with help from staff members at the Celina library. It was added to give the community access to new and emerging technologies. "We usually try to have something running all the time, like bookmarks, so people can see it in action," Miley said. Printing a 3-D object costs $1 per hour and a live stream of the printer can be viewed at mercerlibrary.org.
