Celina police seek suspect
Submitted Photo
Pictured is a female suspected of using counterfeit bills to purchase items on April 2 in multiple counties. Celina police officials ask anyone knowing the person's identity to call 419-586-2345. Police chief Tom Wale said Mercer, Auglaize and Allen county officials have seen counterfeit $100 bills recently and cautioned businesses to be careful of the bills they accept. The fake bills are in the old $100 style and have purple ink on the top edge and black marks on the face and left edge. They have the serial number C55206480A. No arrests have been made, Wale said, and it is unknown if the female in the picture is acting alone.
