A suspect in Monday's reported armed robbery of the Dollar General in Rockford is seen in this surveillance camera snapshot provided by the Rockford police. A second suspect waited in a vehicle outside the store, according to Rockford Police Chief Paul May III.

ROCKFORD - Two white males are still at large after a Monday afternoon armed robbery of the Dollar General store on West Bridge Street.
Rockford police responded to a call about the incident at 2:22 p.m., police chief Paul May III said. The suspects reportedly fled the scene in a two-door, silver 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV with an Indiana handicap sticker.
One suspect, who demanded employees give him cash from the registers, is described to be between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. The man was described as wearing a white baseball cap, an orange, long-sleeved shirt with "Texas Longhorns" on it and blue jeans, according to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
The other suspect reportedly stayed inside the vehicle, waiting for the other, May said. The male in the vehicle was described as wearing a white tank top and had a shaved head and a tattoo on his left bicep, according to the sheriff's office.
The male inside the store reportedly displayed a handgun but did not brandish it at employees during the incident, May said. He did not disclose how much cash was taken.
The two suspects reportedly had fled south from the village before any responding units arrived at the store, May said.
No one was injured during the incident. The employees stayed on scene to talk to police and were shaken from what had transpired, he said.
May said at this time he does not believe the two men have been involved in other robberies in the area.
Officers from Fort Recovery, Coldwater and Celina's K-9 unit and the Mercer County Sheriff's deputies also responded to the incident, which is still under investigation, May said.
May asks people who have any information about the crime to contact the Rockford Police Department, 419-363-3032, or the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, 419-586-6455.
