Pierce Manufacturing of Appleton, Wis., this week delivered a new 2016 rescue truck to the Celina Fire Department. The truck will be used for specialized rescues, including structure fires, farm rescue operations and diving missions, fire chief Doug Wolters said this morning. "The main focus of the truck is rescue," he said. The truck cost $358,000 and was paid for in full with funds from the city's 0.5 percent income tax supporting police and fire capital purchases. The old rescue truck, a 1984 model, likely will be sold, he said.
