Celina Fire Department personnel extinguish a house fire at 303 S. Sugar St. early this morning. One person was able to exit the home safely, but several cats and dogs died in the fire, chief Doug Wolters said. He said the home sustained heavy damage. The blaze is under investigation by the state fire marshal, he said. The department sent 13 crew members, three fire trucks and one ambulance to the scene when the call came in at 12:40 a.m. Crews were on scene until about 8 a.m., Wolters said.
