Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. ST. MARYS - City officials will honor veterans' service by designating St. Marys as a Purple Heart City.
More than 10 veterans, including some Purple Heart recipients, attended as city council members unanimously approved the resolution.
