Ralph Grevenkamp
Ralph C. Grevenkamp, 73, of Sidney, passed away at 7:10 AM on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Fair Haven Shelby County Home.
He was born on September 10, 1942, to the late Clarence and Agnes (Stucke) Grevenkamp. He married Rose Mary Koenig on February 27, 1965, and she survives.
Ralph is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Matthew Tway of Marion; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Maristelle Grevenkamp of Bothell, Washington; David and Ann Grevenkamp of Hartland, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren, Meleah Tway, Reagan Tway, Avelyn Tway, Timbre Grevenkamp, Cadence Grevenkamp, Gunnar Grevenkamp, and Liv Grevenkamp. He is also survived by one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Betty Koenig of Granville; four sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann and Larry Baker of Minster; Martha and Steve Baker of Troy; Sara and Joe Kreitzer of Botkins; and Jean Evans of Kettering; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ralph attended St. Gregory Seminary High School in Cincinnati and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1960. He obtained a B.S. Degree from the University of Dayton in 1970. He served in the U.S. Navy and received an honorable discharge. Ralph was employed as an accountant and worked in the trucking industry. He retired from SAIA in 2008.
Ralph was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 4-6 PM at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 South Main Avenue, Sidney.
