Gettin' muddy in Burkettsville
Photo by William Kincaid/The Daily Standard

Teams play on a muddy volleyball court set up at the Burkettsville Community Picnic over the weekend at the village's community park. Players splashed and mucked it up in the boggy fields. Along with the action and mess of mud volleyball were live music, games and an outdoor movie. All proceeds are donated to local groups and activities that help support the picnic and to the village for maintaining the park and shelter house.
