An Indiana woman was killed and two others were injured in this two-vehicle crash Thursday morning at the intersection of Frahm Pike and state Route 118.

CELINA - A 65-year-old Indiana woman died from injuries sustained in a car crash shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Frahm Pike and state Route 118 in Hopewell Township.
Linda D. Aschliman, Bluffton, was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to a release from Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey. The two passengers in Aschliman's vehicle reportedly were taken by ambulance to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater. Front seat passenger Katie Wickey, 38, Geneva, Indiana, also was reportedly ejected from the vehicle. The other passenger was Kathern Christner, 64, Geneva. The two women's conditions were not available as of press time.
According to sheriff's deputies, Aschliman was driving a 2005 GMC Envoy SUV westbound on Frahm Pike and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection. Aschliman's vehicle struck a northbound 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer rig driven by Jeremy W. Bragg of Ohio City. Bragg refused treatment at the scene.
The accident marked the third this week at the intersection. One man was reportedly seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning at state Route 118 and Frahm Pike. Then on Tuesday afternoon, six people reportedly were taken to local hospitals after a three-vehicle crash occurred at the same junction where a driver failed to stop for a stop sign while westbound on Frahm Pike.
The Mercer County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene Thursday by the Celina Fire Department, Celina EMS, Rockford EMS, and the Motor Carrier Unit of the Ohio Highway Patrol.
