Magdalene T. Post, age 78, of Celina, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born July 18, 1938 in St. Rose to the late Cletus & Clara (Hartings) Voskuhl. On June 21, 1958 she married Leo W. Post Jr. and he died May 28, 2010.
She is survived by four children: Connie (Steve) Paulus of Celina, Jackie Hein of Celina, Steve (Becky) Post of New Haven, IN and Alan (Rose) Post of Celina; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings Mary Evers of Ft. Recovery, Maurice (Joan) Voskuhl of Coldwater, Sharon Voskuhl of Coldwater, Diane Voskuhl of Minster and Mary Lou Voskuhl of Colorado.
She is preceded in death by a son-in-law Dean Hein; siblings Jo & Charlie Bornhorst, Charlie Voskuhl, Ralph Voskuhl, Ivo Voskuhl, Luke Voskuhl and Virgil Voskuhl; and in laws Melvin Evers, Ruth & Charlie Geise, Eugene Post and James Post.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Ladies Altar Rosary Sodality of the church. She worked as a cook at Celina Manor and Mercer Health and milked cows on the farm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Anthony Church with Fr. Matt Feist officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery, St. Anthony.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Tuesday and 9 to 9:45 AM Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
