Rosemary Kramer
Rosemary Jean Kramer, "Rosie", 68, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on December 5, 2016 after a 4-year fight with lung cancer.
Rosie was born on April 12, 1948 in Celina, OH, to the late Walter and Marie (Bihn) Kramer.
Surviving are three children, Jeff (Dorrie) Sacksteder of Brookville, OH, Kim Sacksteder (Dan Downes) of Westerville, OH, Michele Sacksteder (Jon Witmer) of Venetia, PA; 6 grandchildren, Keenan, Mackenzie, Kylee, Alyse, Vallan and Brinlee; and 4 siblings, Jerry (Mary Lou) Kramer of Fort Recovery, OH, Ann (Dave) Ahlers of Punta Gorda, FL, Florine (George) Hamlin of Plain City, OH and Robert (DeLaine) Kramer of Huntington Beach, CA.
Rosie was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Kramer and sister-in-law Niobe Kramer.
She was a 1966 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, Fort Recovery, OH. She was previously employed by New Idea in Coldwater, OH, co-owner of The Depot in Fort Recovery, OH, and worked for Corning Glass in Greenville, OH.
Following this, Rosie returned to Fort Recovery to care for her father until his passing. Most recently, she worked for Mercer County Joint Township Community Hospital in Coldwater, OH.
Rosie thoroughly enjoyed her relationships with family, friends, and coworkers, who were an incredible source of support to her. She was most at home in the center of her garden, planting or weeding. She always grew a healthy crop and gave the fruits of her labor to family and friends.
She was an incredibly strong, active and compassionate woman who often helped people in need. She spent lots of quality time with her children and grandchildren, frequently traveling to help with childcare or home renovation projects.
Rest in peace mother to all, caregiver, and loyal friend.
