The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marie Brown
Marie D. Brown, age 92, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday evening, December 14, 2016 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
Born December 23, 1923 in Bluffton, OH, she was a Daughter of the late Clarence D. & Ruth Claudon Diller.
Marie married Loyd R. Brown on August 21, 1952, and he survives, along with their Children: Carol (Doug) Hoffman of Jenison, MI; Jerald (Caroline) Brown of Nome, AK; Ruth (Bill) Dameron of Coldwater, OH; Jeffrey (Linda) Brown of Clare, MI and Nancy Marie Brown Harris of Mount Pleasant, MI; 18 Grandchildren and 40 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by a Sister and 3 Brothers: Ruth Sawyer of Naperville, IL; David Diller of Hollywood, CA; Dr. James Diller of Ann Arbor, MI and Dr. Timothy Diller of Upland, IN.
Preceding her in death were 2 Brothers: Dr. Al Diller and Mark Diller, and 2 Grandchildren.
A graduate of Pandora High School and Houghton College, Marie went on to graduate from the Biblical Seminary in New York, where she met her husband Loyd, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Marie and Loyd studied in Belgium to learn teaching methods in the French language. Together they served 2 terms totaling 51/2 years, teaching in the missions in the Belgian Congo.
As a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Church in Midland, MI, Marie served there teaching Sunday School. After relocating to Coldwater, she joined Grace Missionary Church in Celina.
In addition to being a homemaker and raising her family, she taught the "Good News Club," an after school program for children. Marie was truly a Godly woman who loved the Lord with all her heart. She lived her faith, studied the Bible, and loved telling people about the Lord.
Marie was talented in many ways, being a wonderful pianist, singer, typist and seamstress. She enjoyed collecting stamps, flower gardening, and baking.
Calling Hours are 2-4:00 & 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, December 19, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 20, at Grace Missionary Church in Celina, with calling at the church an hour before the Service. Rev. Bruce Head will officiate. Burial will be at the Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery near Bluffton, OH.
