Jay Thomas Osterholt age 47 formerly of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday December 20, 2016 in Glenview, IL.

Jay was born November 9, 1969 in Coldwater, OH to Richard and Marilyn (Bills) Osterholt. Jay was preceded in death by his father Richard in 2007.

He is survived by his mother Marilyn Osterholt; brother Alan (Olivia) Osterholt, sister Amy (Matt) Miller, brother Ryan Osterholt; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday December 27, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Christopher Catholic Church 435 E. National Rd. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Monday evening from 4-7 pm and at church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 am until time of the Mass.
