Deloris Corbin
Deloris Evelyn Corbin, age 85, of Mendon, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born February 20, 1931 in Lewisburg, OH, to the late John M. & Edna A. (Collins) Steiner.
Deloris is survived by her children: Alice Bare (Jim) Stone of Stout, OH, Ronald Bare of Fostoria, John (Misty) Bare of Stout, Karen Bare of Newark, Evelyn Hudson (Mark) Teeple of Angola, IN, Lewis Hudson Jr. of Tallahassee, FL, Bonnie Hudson (David) Adams of Rockford, close family friends, Doug & Tina Johnson of Mendon, and step-children: Francis J. (Linda) Corbin of Marion, OH and Rev. Donald B. (Janice) Corbin of Graytown, OH, 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, and 15 great great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Robert Bare, Lewis Hudson Sr. and Rev. Ralph Corbin, a son & daughter, Donald and Pamela Sue Bare, an unborn child, sisters: Tina Hilyard, Loretta Roe and Francis Morris, a brother, Than Steiner, a granddaughter, Sarah Teeple, and a step-daughter, Anita Dickason.
Deloris was a 1949 graduate of Union High School in Lewisburg. She had worked as a waitress at the Motor Inn in Mercer, and was employed for many years at the former Mersman Furniture Factory in Celina.
A longtime member of Mt. Tabor Church of God, Celina, Deloris enjoyed attending Sunday School and Bible study groups. She was a very Christian woman, an avid reader, especially devoted to reading the bible. She enjoyed her grandchildren, baking and gardening.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 30, at Mt. Tabor Church of God, 9744 US Route 127 N, Celina, with Pastor Randy Christian, officiating. A meal and time of fellowship will follow services at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling Hours are from 11:00 AM until time of services on Friday, at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family.
