Mary Triplett
Mary Magdalene Triplett, 82, of St. Marys, OH passed away 3:57 p.m. Friday February 17, 2017 at her residence.
She was born December 26, 1934 in Lackey, KY to Wes and Ada (Tuttle) Roberts.
On June 28, 1955 in Hindman, KY she married Jerry Triplett, who survives. Together, they built a beautiful life of 61 years, with eight children.
Also survived by: daughter Deb (Tom) Frilling of St. Marys, OH; daughter Rita (Wade) Moran of St. Marys, OH; daughter Penny (Rod) Ahlers of St. Marys, OH; daughter Janet (Scott) Moran of St. Marys, OH; daughter Missy (Kurt) Quellhorst of St. Marys, OH; son Jeff (Susan) Triplett of Celina, OH; son Wesley (Kristy) Triplett of West Chester, OH; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: parents Wes and Ada Roberts; son Jerry Dale Triplett; grandson Luke Moran; grandson Brock Moran; grandson John Wes Moran; brother Clyde Roberts.
She worked many years at the St. Marys Nursing Home, where she cared for the elderly with kindness and love. She was a devoted member of the Garden of Love Old Regular Baptist Church in St. Marys.
Faith and family were the cornerstones of Mary's life. She guided her family through all aspects of their lives with quiet dignity. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and many dear friends.
Rites are scheduled to begin 10:00 a.m. Thursday February 23, 2017 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with Bro. Gary Mosley, Bro. Mike Everage and Bro. Billy Mosley, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
The family of Mary Triplett wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Grand Lake Hospice for the excellent care provided during Mary's final days. Also, they wish to recognize the outpouring of support from their friends. Your kindness and loving gestures will not be forgotten!
