Celina Fire Department personnel inspect the roof for a possible hotspot at Thieman Tailgate after extinguishing a small fire at the facility late Friday morning. Firefighters were called to the scene at 10:55 a.m. after an employee discovered a fire had started in the dust collector near the paint line, fire chief Doug Wolters said. The fire was too small to trigger the alarm or sprinklers, he added. The flames reportedly had burned through the filters in the collector, causing about $2,000 in damage. Firefighters had the flames extinguished in about 20 minutes and were on scene for a little over an hour, he said. Employees working nearby were evacuated for about 20 minutes. Wolters said the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No one was injured.
