Jeffrey A. Duke, 55, Celina, Ohio, and formerly of Elkhart, Indiana, died 11:47 P.M. Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Van Wert Hospice.

He was born May 1, 1962, in Elkhart, the son of Charles and Donna (Ferrell) Duke. He married Patricia Birrell on August 26, 1989, in Elkhart, and she survives at the residence.

He is also survived by his father, Charles (Ann) Duke of Lakeland, Florida; by his daughter, Sherri (Jeffrey) Barhorst of Saint Marys; by his son, Jarrod (Dakota Stotlar) of Celina; by his step-father, AJ Procaccino of Mishawaka, Indiana; by his grandchildren: Skylar; Olivia; Jeffrey, Jr.; Gavin; Xander; Corbin; Savannah; Ciara; Brason. He is survived by three sisters: Leanne (Jim) Dillon of North Carolina; Pam (John) Hardy of Elkhart; Cathy (Terry) Imus of Elkhart. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Darlene (Phil) Huddleston of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Linda (Mike) Koscielny of Bristol, Indiana; by a brother-in-law, Mike Birrell of Middlebury, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandi Duke, who died May 2, 2017; by his mother, Donna Duke Procaccino; by his wife's parents, Conway and Anne Birrell.

Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School. He was and arborist and owner of Roy's Boys Tree Service in Elkhart. He was a drummer who played in various local bands, and he enjoyed building dune buggies, taking road trips, woodworking and spending time with his family.

Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Doug Baker, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
