Celina city auction draws crowd

Eric Robbins holds an electric guitar that is being auctioned by Tom Robbins during Celina's annual dispersal auction Thursday afternoon next to the fire station. The guitar sold for $20. The auction was hosted by the Celina Police Department and other city departments. About 180 items were auctioned for a total of $22,564, city safety service director Tom Hitchcock said this morning. Auctioned items were either no longer of use to the city or had been seized by the police department.
