Home demolished
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

City of Celina employees this week razed a fire-damaged home at 221 E. Warren St., the site of a March 20 blaze that claimed the life of Jeremy Bricker. The home was targeted for demolition under the city's unsafe structure ordinance. The demolition cost was estimated between $7,000 and $8,000 for manpower, equipment and removal of debris. It will be assessed to the property owner's tax duplicate.
