Children get additional reading time and shelter animals get a little love and attention during the summertime program, Reading with Rescues, on Friday morning. The children in summer classes at TLC Learning Center, St. Marys, are brought to read to the dogs and cats at the Auglaize County Humane Society on North Dixie Highway in Wapakoneta.
