Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Larry Heitkamp
Larry L. Heitkamp, age 72, of St. Henry, Ohio, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born October 21, 1944 to the late Urban & Alvina (Kemper) Heitkamp in Minster, Ohio. On February 6, 1965 he married Judith (Woehrmyer) and she survives in St. Henry.
Larry is also survived by his four children: Kelly & Fred Wuebker of Lima, Kerry & Karen Heitkamp of Fort Mill, SC, Suzanne & Jon Wells of New Bremen, and Scott & Holly Heitkamp of Worthington. He is also survived by grandchildren Kathryn and Joshua Wuebker, Simon Shore, Nicholas, Patrick, Benjamin and Maria Wells, Ellen, Eve, Claire and Joseph Heitkamp; siblings: Don & Shirley Heitkamp of Minster, Mary Jane & Duane Bachman of Piqua, Gary & Jane Heitkamp of Montezuma, his mother-in-law Vera Woehrmyer of Minster, and in-laws Barb Heitkamp of New Bremen, Dianne & Ned Sielschott of Minster, Ken & Debbie Woehrmyer of Lebanon, Jay & Debbie Woehrmyer of Three Rivers, MI, Sue & Jim Christian of Versailles, and Bill & Donna Woehrmyer of New Bremen.
Larry is preceded in death by a son Joseph Heitkamp, siblings: Ken & Veronica Heitkamp, and Terry Heitkamp, and his father in-law Melvin Woehrmyer.
He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, and St. Henry Council of the Knights of Columbus. Larry was a funeral director for N.J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc. for over 51 years, managing the St. Henry Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. Burial will follow at St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 8 pm Tuesday and 9 to 10 am Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Memorials may be made to The St. Henry E.M.S.
