* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 724 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Troy, Sidney, Piqua, Bellefontaine, Kenton, Ada, West Milton, Versailles, Covington, Newport, Bradford, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Pleasant Hill, Botkins and Lakeview.

Beatrice Metzger
Beatrice A. Metzger, 87, of St. Marys, OH (and formerly of New Knoxville, OH), died 12:56 p.m. Sunday August 20, 2017 at Otterbein-St. Marys.
She was born June 26, 1930 in St. Marys, OH to Kenneth and Lavina Elizabeth (Steen) Overley, Sr. On December 23, 1950 she married Carl Carlyle Metzger, who died December 16, 2007.
Survivors include: daughter Connie (Eldon) Stolzenburg, Jr. of St. Marys, OH; daughter Annamarie (Robert) Stolzenburg of St. Marys, OH ; son Dennis (Emma) Metzger of St. Marys, OH; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: parents Kenneth and Lavina Overley, Sr.; husband Carl Metzger; sister Neva Eileen Berry; brother William Overley; brother Kenneth Overley, Jr.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1949). Mrs. Metzger worked in the dietary department of Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta for many years. Prior to that, she was employed at St. Marys Cotton Mills. Her favorite pastimes included camping, flower gardening and traveling to Florida.
Rites are scheduled to begin 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street Chapel) in St. Marys. The Rev. Bev Hurlburt will officiate the services. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be directed to either Alzheimer's Assoc. or Otterbein (Partners in Caring Fund).
