A Mercer County sheriff's deputy takes a statement while investigating a motorcycle-pickup truck crash Friday just east of Neptune. The driver of a motorcycle struck a stopped pickup truck in the rear. The motorcyclist was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital for surgery and other medical treatment.
