Beth Thobe
Beth A. Thobe, 53, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died November 7, 2017, at her home.
She was born August 15, 1964, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Lavern and Dorothy (Muhlenkamp) Brockman. On July 5, 1986, in St. Peter, OH, she married Jerry "Dutch"" Thobe, who survives.
Also surviving are their four children, Tyler (Kendra) Thobe of Fort Recovery, Nathan Thobe of Elk Creek, MO, Jared (Jacqi) Thobe of Fort Recovery and Ethan Thobe of Fort Recovery; five grandchildren, James, Johnathon, Jack, Jalyn & Nevaeh; her siblings, Sharon (Jerry) Rose of Burkettsville, Gary (Janet) Brockman of Coldwater, Randy (Corienne) Brockman of St. Henry, Brenda (Roger) Kaiser of Coldwater, Mark (Cathy) Brockman of Fort Recovery and Jan (Steve) Schoen of Fort Recovery; her in-laws, Carol Kunk of Silsbee, TX, John (Susan) Thobe of Willow Springs, MO, Pat (Ron) May of Fort Recovery, Joe (Deb) Thobe of Fort Recovery and Bonnie Rammel of Fort Recovery.
Preceding her in death are two grandchildren, Crew and Malachi and her in-laws, Gene Kunk, Charles Breaux and Ralph Rammel.
Beth graduated from Fort Recovery High School in 1982 and was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
Beth was a babysitter for many families in the community. She considered herself a mother to all the children she cared for. She was an excellent baker and also enjoyed reading and doing cross word puzzles. She especially loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, November 13, 2017 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Matthew Feist officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 1:00 pm-6:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
