Fort Recovery's Will Homan was named the Division VI Offensive Player of the Year on Sunday.

Fort Recovery running back Will Homan took top honors in Division VI as the All-Ohio Divisions VI and VII teams were released.
This year, the Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association, through panels of media members from around the state, chose the All-Ohio teams as the Associated Press no longer coordinates postseason honors for high school sports..
Homan was Division VI's Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for over 2,200 yards this past season for the Indians.
The Defensive Player of the Year award went to Grandview Heights' defensive back James Lachey, son of former St. Henry, Ohio State and NFL standout Jim Lachey. James Lachey is verbally committed to Bowling Green State University. James' brother Luke was selected to the honorable mention.
Joining Homan on the first team were Marion Local offensive lineman John Dirksen, Fort Recovery defensive lineman Andrew Stocker and Marion Local defensive back Matt Rethman.
Earning second team honors were Coldwater receiver Jacob Wenning, St. Henry linebacker Tyler Schlarman and Marion Local linebacker Sam Huelsman. Coldwater's Thomas Schwieterman was named to the honorable mention.
In Division VII, Minster quarterback Jared Hueslman was selected to the second team while teammate Isaac Schmiesing was named a third-team defensive back.
Offensive Player of the Year honors were shared by Daniel Bangura of Canal Winchester Harvest Prep and Lukas Isaly of Hannibal River. Norwalk St. Paul's Luke Nickoli was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
The Divisions IV and V All-Ohio honors will be released tonight with Divisions II and III announced Tuesday and Division I and Mr. Football announced Wednesday.
