Celina teen dies from injuries in Sunday crash

By Tom Stankard
NOBLE TOWNSHIP - A Celina teen involved in a one-vehicle accident over the weekend has died of his injuries.
A Miami Valley Hospital spokesperson confirmed that Seth Bremer, 19, whose vehicle had struck a concrete barrier head-on early Sunday morning, had died.
Bremer, 19, reportedly was injured when his 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck traveled off the left side of the roadway as he entered State Route 29 from U.S. 33. His vehicle struck the cement barrier holding the cement bridge supports at 2:41 a.m. Sunday, according to an Auglaize County Sheriff's Office report.
His vehicle reportedly slid along the cement barrier until it came to rest just past the end of the barrier.
Bremer reportedly was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was transported Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys and then to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Front seat passenger Lesley N.M. Turner, 17, St. Marys, did not report any injuries and refused transport to the hospital, according to the report.
Neither occupant reportedly was wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol and/or drugs were suspected to be factors in the accident, according to the report.
The pickup truck sustained heavy damage to the front left section and the driver's door, the report stated.
