Shelley Chaney-Adams
Shelley J. Chaney-Adams, 49, formerly of St. Marys, OH died December 7, 2017 at her residence in Readyville, TN.
She was born January 14, 1968 in St. Marys, OH to Dean and Donna (Miller) Chaney.
She is survived by: daughter Mackenzie (Dustin Mears) Adams of Readyville, TN; Parents Dean and Donna Chaney of Celina, OH; Brother Kevin (Jess) Chaney of Celina, OH; Sister Teresea (Jeff) Zizelman of Celina, OH; Sister Angel (Donnie) Ginter of St. Marys, OH; Sister Sue Chaney of Wapakoneta, OH; Former husband Randy Adams of Tampa, FL.
She was preceded in death by many loved ones from the Miller, Chaney and Adams families.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1986) and completed numerous professional courses in the banking industry. She had worked her way up to Executive Assistant and Assistant Vice-President for First National Bank of Middle Tennessee. She had opened a new banking center in Murfeesboro, TN and had planned to open another, prior to being forced to retire in May of this year to battle pancreatic cancer.
She was an active member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Readyville. Her favorite pastimes included working on her home, doing arts & crafts and cooking. Her greatest joy was being a mother. She will be remembered for her unconditional love of life.
Rites are scheduled to begin 1:00 p.m. Saturday December 16, 2017 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
Visitation 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
