Wilma Stammen
Wilma A. Stammen, age 91, of North Star, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born October 10, 1926, in Darke County, Ohio to the late John & Hilda (Wehrkamp) Keiser. She married Thomas A. Stammen on May 4, 1948 and he died June 24, 2006.
She is survived by her children: Peg & Tom Kremer of McCartyville, Dianne Monroe of Dublin, Dee & Terry Baltes of Dayton, Eileen & Phil McBride of Dayton, Alan & Sharon Stammen of Versailles, Vivan & Dean Liette of New Weston, Phyllis & Dale Stucke of Ashburn, Va., Janelle & Scott Bernholt of Versailles, Joan & Brian Bookheimer of Westerville, and Brice & Melissa Stammen of Cleveland; 31 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Siblings Jean & Jack Kaiser, Marvin & Wanda Keiser, Harold & Arlene Keiser, and Sharon Apple all of New Weston; in laws Betty Schlarman, Doris Keiser both of New Weston and Norma Keiser of Celina.
She is preceded in death by one great-grandchild, siblings Lester Keiser, Louis Keiser and Paul Keiser and in laws Bill Apple, Joan & Val Groff, Bob & Loretta Stammen, Mary Jean & Ernest Wehrkamp, Carol & Ben Selhorst, Luke Stammen and Ruth & Albert Hemmelgarn.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, North Star American Legion Auxiliary and the Darke County Right to Life. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday December 16, 2017 at St. Louis Church, North Star. Burial will be at St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater and 9 to 10 AM Saturday at St. Louis Church.
Memorials may be made to the Darke County Right to Life or Maria Stein Shrine.
