William B. Riethman, age 63 of New Bremen, died on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 7:00 A.M. at his home.

He was born on April 6, 1954 in Coldwater, OH. The son of the late Wilfred and Mary, (Ruschau) Riethman. On July 23, 1977, he married Nancy Brussell who survives in New Bremen.

Also surviving are his children; Jennifer and Steven Williams of Mooresville, N.C., Angela and Jason Hess of Troy and Jay and Julia Riethman of New Bremen, his grandchildren Oliver and Levi Riethman and his siblings; Barbara and Steve Bradford of Columbus, Patricia and Henry Barhorst of Minster, Ron and Eileen Riethman of Minster, Don and Kendra Riethman of Minster, Fred and Nancy Riethman of St. Henry, Karen and Paul Frey of New Bremen and Chris and Harold Long of New Bremen.

Bill was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen. He was a 1972 graduate of Minster High School and belonged to the F.O.E. 1391 of Minster.

He was a machinist at the Minster Machine Co. for over 35 years, retiring in 2014 and was a member of the Minster Machine Co. 25 year club. He enjoyed fishing and bowling, playing cards, marbles and teaching others the proper way to play dominos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Dorn and Rev. Mr. Greg Bornhorst officiating.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, and from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the church. The Rosary will then be prayed at 10:00 A.M.
