* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Minster's Ethan Wolf to play in Shrine Bowl

Although the college football season for the University of Tennessee ended more than a month ago, Ethan Wolf still has one game left to play.
The Minster native and recently graduated tight end of the Volunteers will suit up next Saturday in the 93rd East-West Shrine Game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The game, which started in 1925, brings together top college players from around the nation. [More]

Local resident exceeds goal by finishing 63 races in 2017
CELINA - Rick Krogman, 58, Celina, has run 63 5K races in the last year, outpacing his original goal of 60 races.
Along the way, he has earned 32 medals and other rewards for placing in the top three of his age group - all while running with two artificial hips.
Mercer County sells salt to Auglaize County for storm
CELINA - The Mercer County Engineer's Office sold 150 tons of salt to a neighboring county to help its road crews prepare for Friday's snowstorm, which turned out to not be as bad as first predicted.
CLAYTON - A Celina woman has been indicted on several felony charges, including aggravated vehicular assault, stemming from a four-vehicle crash more than three years ago.
WAYNESFIELD - A rural Waynesfield man was arrested on drugs and weapons charges on Thursday afternoon, according to an Auglaize County Sheriff's news release.
The snow and wind forced the Midwest Athletic Conference and Western Buckeye League to postpone all of Friday night's games and prompted changes to the weekend schedule for the Minster girls basketball team.
