Wilma Bergman-Wynk
Wilma M. Bergman-Wynk, age 90, of Osgood, Ohio, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born September 8, 1927 in St. Henry to the late Peter & Emma (Behrens) Studer. She married Lester Bergman in 1950 and he died January 2, 1962, she then married Lester Wynk on May 14, 1964, and he died February 3, 2004.
She is survived by her children: David & Mary Bergman of North Star, Daniel & Donna Bergman of Florida, Patrick & Marilyn Bergman of Versailles, Mary & Gary Reinhart of Coldwater, Kenneth & Margo Wynk of Coldwater, Carl & Karen Bergman of Coldwater, and Janet & Chuck Kemper of Crestline; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren, with three on the way; and in-laws: Ann Bergman of Maplewood, Evelyn Kunkler of New Weston, Barb Winner of Osgood, Rita Wynk of Carthagena, Alvin & Alice Bellert of Dayton, Richard Bellert of Minnesota and Raymond Beaver of Pennsylvania.
She was also preceded in death by a son Mark Bergman; siblings and in-laws: Raymond & Ruth Studer, Ted & Jeanette Studer, Paul & Marie Studer, Dorothy & Ves Wilker, Helen Studer, Herb & Velma Bergman, Verena & Vitalus Grillot, Arthur Bergman, Fred Kunkler, Virgil Bergman, Gene Winner, Lorena & Othmar Reichert, Elmer & Jean Wynk, Robert Wynk, Elizabeth Bellert, Rita Beaver and Mary Bellert.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, a longtime member of the church choir, the caring ministry, St. Ann Sodality, all of the church, a lifetime member of the North Star American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose in Celina, and Darke County Right to Life.
Wilma was housekeeper for St. Louis Rectory for 22 years, was a well-known cook for weddings and parties. She was a seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and following the Cincinnati Reds.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star.
